Hamza Academy seeks to develop in each student a positive identity who is prepared intellectually, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically to succeed in tomorrow’s world. Our students are expected to gain both academic skills and Islamic principles so that they are able to make positive contributions to the global community. Hamza Academy also aims to develop in each student a balanced character enriched with knowledge, inspired to excellence and committed to the betterment of self, family, and community.

Hamza Academy was established in 2001 in a trailer with only 15 students and now three buildings later with about 150 students, Hamza Academy is still growing strong. As an entity of Masjid Hamza, Hamza Academy is a New York State registered, chartered, 501(c)3 nonprofit educational institution and compliant to all NYS curriculum and health requirements. We are always striving for excellence and are working towards several accreditation and national recognition through AdvancED and CISNA (Council of Islamic Schools in North America). Hamza Academy is an Islamic Preschool, Elementary School, and Middle School (grades Nursery-8). We serve both Queens and Long Island community at an affordable rate.
