How can I describe a product problem without guessing its cause?

Keep the wording specific rather than simply saying everything is wrong. Check the supplied instructions before assuming the intended behavior.

What should I review before closing an account that contains purchase records?

Do not share account credentials as an alternative to proper closure. Resolve important identification corrections before losing ordinary access if possible.

How can I confirm availability before ordering?

Check whether the quantity you want can be selected under the current offer. Check for any selection change if an unavailable option is replaced automatically.
