The Masjid Hamza Hifz School is a full time Quran memorization program. Students are taught how to memorize the Quran with proper Tajweed. As students progress in the memorization, continuous effort is made to ensure that previously memorized parts are fortified. Along with memorization of the Quran, other Islamic education and knowledge is gained.
The program currently serves boys in the age range of 7-12. Boys must be between 7 – 9 years of age to enter the program.
The school is open year round with the main vacation in Ramadan and Eid-ain holidays. The school also observes key national holidays such as Independence and Memorial Day.
The school operates Monday through Friday with hours of 9 AM to 3 PM with school ending at Jumua salah on Fridays.
Additionally, the school provides homeschooling support for the four core curriculum subjects – Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. In this way, students will be able to memorize the Quran while continuing their academics studies. Parents and students are expected to maintain the academics studies as necessary.
Part-time Hifdh occurs Monday – Thursday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
